Sponsorship

To become a member of WHERCC you need to be sponsored by an existing member. This need not be an obstacle simply turn up at the field and talk to the members you find there. Normally we all are happy to sponsor a prospective member. Note that full (not park pilot) AMA membership is mandatory before you can join WHERCC, you can arrange this here. AMA membership provides you with the required insurance for flying at our field.

Application Fee

WHERCC requires $25 along with the completed application form. You will have limited flying rights from this point subject to being certified by the Chief Instructor Pilot.

Membership Fee

Upon acceptance of the application by the Membership Chairmen, a new member is required to submit the annual dues of $125 which may be prorated after November 1st.

Flight Instructions

All new members, regardless of skills, are required to be certified by the Chief Instructor Pilot or one of the Instructor Pilots prior to flying alone at our field. This is to ensure the member has control of their models and exhibit an understanding of the field flight boundaries.
